Black & Veatch Awarded DOE Funding to Build Global Thermostat DAC Project:

The U.S. Department of Energy awarded Black & Veatch $2.5 million in federal funding to build a Global Thermostat direct air capture project which will capture 100,000 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from the atmosphere per year. Black & Veatch will develop an initial engineering design for a large-scale DAC system to be placed in three locations: Odessa, Texas; Bucks, Alabama; and Goose Creek Illinois.
