Pivot Power announces planning approval for two new battery storage sites in Luton and Cornwall:

Pivot Power won planning approval for two new grid-scale battery storage facilities in Sundon, Luton, and Indian Queens, Cornwall. The 50 MW/100 MWh lithium-ion battery storage facility in Sundon is expected to begin construction in early 2023, with the aim of being connected later that year. In Indian Queens, Pivot Power will share a grid connection with other developers for a 50 MW/100 MWh battery for construction and connection to the National Grid in 2024.
