Sinopec Xinjiang Kuqa Green Hydrogen Demonstration Project Starts Construction:
Sinopec announced that the world’s largest photovoltaic green hydrogen production project was officially under construction: the Sinopec Xinjiang Kuqa Green Hydrogen Demonstration Project. The new installed capacity will be 300 MW of photovoltaic power and 20,000 tons of green hydrogen produced which will replace the company's existing natural gas and fossil fuels at the Tahe Refinery to reduce emissions by 485,000 tons per year.
